Calapan City Trip with Cleia

As a special errand for my Mom, I was asked to go to Calapan City with Cleia. This will be Cleia’s first time at Calapan City. We had a brief tour of Calapan’s port and police camp. It was raining a little when we arrived. As we headed back toward town, we saw this guy sitting at the back of the tricycle. He was so funny, that I took a picture of him. My first impression of him was he was part of a musical band. He had that rock star look.

When Cleia and I reached our first stop for lunch, Chowking, guess who we met there? The guy at the back of the tricycle. We were so shocked but decided to act like we didn’t know him. I wonder if he can recognized us at all. Lucky for us not to see him again for we ate our lunch at Chowking’s second level.

It’s been a while since I ate their Golden Pork Rice. We both ordered the same meal with Pineapple Juice and I added Beef Siomai, which is my all-time favorite. I always order Beef Siomai everytime I eat at Chowking. No excuses.

It was very cold in our table. The air-conditioning system blows the air directly on our table which makes eating very uncomfortable. The students are to blame for turning it on. I haven’t eaten much. I just wanted to get out. Cleia ate most of my meal.

We rode on a tricycle to Neo Calapan Mall. She liked the mannequins so much that she had lots of pictures taken with them. This was taken at Bench Clothing Co.

They look good together.

I like this mannequin’s pose. It’s all about attitude and confidence!

I instantly fell in love with this pair of earrings and I wore it instantly.

We had a lot of fun at World of Fun. We sang to our hearts content at the videoke, played coin dozer, and the claw crane. We enjoyed shopping at Bench, Watsons, Robinson’s Supermarket, and at the Robinson’s Department Store. We had fun exploring Penshoppe and Rusty Lopez.  We liked the waffles. She bought lots of watches and chocolates.

I brought home dark chocolates from different brands for my parents. They loved my pasalubong.

My errand was done. I made Cleia’s first time at Calapan City memorable and enjoyable. We wish we had more time.

Nail Love: Lavender Creme

I let my nails breathe these past few months. It has been gloomy and cold here for the past week so I decided to liven up my world with a bold nail polish.

I bought a toenail clipper and a fuchsia pink nail polish.

Here is what I usually do to achieve a perfect manicure and pedicure:

1. I make sure to wash my hands and feet. I pat them dry and spray hand sanitizer. After it dries, I apply lotion to moisturize.

2. I cut my nails, preferably shorter and rounder.

3. I file my nails in one direction to my desired shape and length.

4. I used an orange stick because its gentler on nails. I push nails and brush off the cuticles I’ve removed gently.

5. I apply a single layer of base coat to keep my nails free from stains. I apply nail polish in two coats and a single layer of top coat.

6. I let them dry naturally.

7. I clean the edges with a small cotton ball with nail polish remover.
